Hollywood Bowl Receives Outdoor Concert Venue of the Year Honor
The Hollywood Bowl, a prominent LA landmark, has secured the title of Outdoor Concert Venue of the Year at the 36th annual Pollstar Awards.
A Legendary Venue
Established in 1922, the Hollywood Bowl has been the summer residence of the Los Angeles Philharmonic for over a century. This year marks the 18th time the amphitheater has received this accolade, a tribute to its continued excellence in hosting outdoor performances.
The award, also known as the Red Rocks Award, was presented during a ceremony held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
Notable Performances of 2024
The Bowl’s 2024 season featured an impressive lineup with more than 100 concerts, showcasing a diverse array of talent. Audience favorites included:

Additionally, the venue hosted unique events such as a Fourth of July celebration featuring Harry Connick Jr., themed fireworks shows with Boyz II Men, and notable film soundtrack performances.

In addition to concerts, the Hollywood Bowl was graced by comedic performances from Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Burr, and Kevin Hart in 2024. The amphitheater also showcased major musicals, including productions of “Les Misérables” and “Miss Saigon.”
Looking Ahead: 2025 Season Announced
The 2025 summer season lineup was unveiled in February, with anticipated performances including:

In the competition for the Outdoor Concert Venue of the Year title, the Hollywood Bowl stood out among other nominees, including the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington and the Greek Theatre in Griffith Park. Other notable nominees included the Intuit Dome and SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
