Investigation Underway for Fatal Hit-and-Run in Los Angeles

In a tragic incident early Monday morning, two individuals lost their lives in a multi-vehicle collision in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood of Los Angeles. Authorities are currently searching for the driver who fled the scene.

Details of the Incident

The collision occurred around 5 a.m. in the 6600 block of Vermont Avenue. Emergency responders arrived to find the roadway littered with debris from the crash, which was subsequently cordoned off with yellow caution tape.

Victims and Investigation

Los Angeles Police Department Officer Cervantes reported that two victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities and ages have not yet been disclosed to the public.

During the investigation, it was confirmed that one of the drivers involved in the incident fled the area. Authorities are in search of a male suspect, but no further description has been provided at this time. The investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
