Investigation Underway After Driver Found Dead on 110 Freeway
Officials are currently conducting an investigation following the discovery of a deceased driver found in their vehicle on the 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles on Thursday night.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) received multiple reports at approximately 10 p.m. regarding a potential shooting incident in the area.



Details of the Incident
Upon arrival, authorities located an individual slumped in the driver’s seat of a vehicle that was identified as an older model Toyota Corolla. However, the CHP has not confirmed the cause of death.
While there were initial reports indicating a possible shooting, official confirmation and details surrounding that possibility remain unverified at this time.
Traffic Response
In response to the incident, a Sigalert was issued at around 10:45 p.m., resulting in the closure of both northbound and southbound lanes on the transition road from the 110 Freeway to the eastbound 105 Freeway. This led to significant traffic delays as authorities conducted their investigation.
