Circle K Hosts Fuel Day to Support the American Red Cross in March
In recognition of American Red Cross Month, Circle K is set to launch a special “Fuel Day” event on Thursday, March 20. The initiative will offer customers in select locations across California the opportunity to enjoy a discount of 40 cents per gallon on gasoline.
Giving Back to the Community
Circle K announced that a portion of the proceeds from this Fuel Day will be donated to the American Red Cross. This contribution aims to bolster the organization’s essential relief efforts, which play a vital role in aiding communities affected by crises.
George Wilkins, Vice President of Operations for Circle K’s West Coast Business Unit, expressed gratitude for the collaboration with the American Red Cross. “We’re so thankful for our partnership with the American Red Cross and proud to champion their efforts across our community,” Wilkins stated. He highlighted the ongoing need for support in recovering from recent wildfires and in preparing for future disasters, emphasizing the importance of this initiative for both the community and customers.
Participating Locations and Timing
The Fuel Day discount will be available at over 240 Circle K locations throughout California, Oregon, and Washington. This event follows a similar fundraising effort in January, which was dedicated to wildfire relief in Southern California.
Red Cross CEO’s Appreciation
Sean Mahoney, the Chief Executive Officer of the Red Cross Southern California Region, acknowledged Circle K’s support during March, noting, “Thank you to Circle K for their support during March, Red Cross Month, and throughout the year to help ensure that the Red Cross can respond whenever and wherever we’re needed, providing relief and hope during times of crises.”

Customers interested in taking advantage of the 40-cent discount on fuel can locate participating Circle K outlets through the Store Locator tool available on the company’s website. The discounted prices will be accessible at the pump from 4 to 7 p.m. local time, at selected locations, while supplies last.
