Los Angeles County Man Arrested for Attempted Murder in Stabbing Incident
A man identified as Ricardo Castro, 51, has been taken into custody in connection with an attempted murder investigation stemming from a stabbing incident that occurred in Temecula, California. The incident has been classified by authorities as related to domestic violence.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were dispatched to the 29000 block of Mira Loma Drive at approximately 9:18 a.m. on March 16. Upon arrival, law enforcement officials discovered a male victim suffering from significant stab wounds.
Victim’s Condition and Response
The victim was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital and is currently reported to be in stable condition. Despite the efforts to secure the area, the suspect fled prior to the deputies’ arrival.
Suspect Identification and Arrest
After a thorough investigation, detectives identified Castro as the suspect. Implementation of assistance from the Riverside County Gang Impact Team and the Special Enforcement Bureau’s K9 Team led to Castro’s capture in a vacant field nearby.
