INDY Fan Fest Brings Music, Comedy & Culture to All‑Star Weekend

by LA Highlights Contributor

Indianapolis is buzzing tonight as INDY Fan Fest & WNBA Live presented by Panini officially kicked off on Friday, July 18, in downtown Indy. Hosted at the Indiana Convention Center, this dynamic two-day fan festival runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. both Friday and Saturday, blending music, comedy, culture, and basketball into one electrifying All-Star weekend experience.

Inside WNBA Live, fans interact with players through autograph sessions and panel discussions, try their skills at hoops clinics, and shop exclusive merch. Major brands are on-site—Ally, AT&T, CarMax, Coach, DICK’s Sporting Goods, Google, Bumble, and more—offering interactive activations like arcade-style challenges, robotic manicures, free giveaways, and sneak peeks at player collections.

After dark, Fever Fest—a new music and comedy celebration—takes over the Everwise Amphitheatre in White River State Park. Starting at 5 p.m. on July 19, this epic night includes line dancing, a comedy showcase hosted by Deon Cole featuring Cedric the Entertainer, Leslie Jones, Aida Rodriguez, and music from The Kid LAROI, G‑Eazy, BIA, and more. The evening culminates with a WNBA All-Star Game watch party led by DJ D*Nice, projecting the game on a giant screen surrounded by fans and premium sound.

This celebration mirrors the WNBA’s rising profile, especially fueled by stars like Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier. Fan Fest draws record crowds and sponsor interest—25 brands are active across the venue, making this year’s sponsorship and spectator engagement unparalleled in WNBA history.

All of this leads up to the main event: the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday, July 19 at 8:30 p.m. ET, tagging Team Clark against Team Collier in what promises to be one of the most high-profile star-studded weekends in Detroit’s Emergence as a global women’s sports hub.

In addition to basketball, the city offers a full lineup of cultural events: pop-up music performances by Musical Family Tree, dance events by Indy Dance Council, local art markets, and exhibitions tied to the Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration.

Safety and city planning have been elevated too: authorities have increased security downtown, implemented health and street closures, and rolled out a mass alert system to keep drivetimes smooth for fans and families.

From urban beats to comic relief, player interactions to brand activations, INDY Fan Fest & WNBA Live ensure that All-Star weekend is a multidimensional celebration—proving that the future of women’s basketball isn’t just being played on the court, but embraced in music, fashion, laughter, and community.
