Buena Park Authorities Seek Public Assistance in Hit-and-Run Investigation
Law enforcement officials in Buena Park are calling on the community for help in finding a suspect wanted in connection to a felony hit-and-run incident that occurred early on March 13, 2025.
Incident Details
The Buena Park Police Department released a press statement indicating that a blue Honda sedan, allegedly involved in the incident, was captured on surveillance footage shortly before 12:50 a.m. The footage shows the vehicle speeding southbound on Beach Boulevard, running red lights in the process.
According to the press release, the Honda struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Crescent Avenue before fleeing the scene without stopping. Following the collision, the vehicle continued southbound on Beach Boulevard and eventually disappeared from sight.
Evidence Collected
Officials managed to recover a Honda emblem from the accident scene, which leads them to believe the vehicle sustained considerable front-end damage. There is speculation that the damages might include a broken windshield.
Status of the Investigation
As of now, the police have not released additional information regarding the identity or condition of the pedestrian impacted by the vehicle nor have they provided a description of the driver involved.
