SKIMS Establishes Flagship Store in West Hollywood
Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS has officially launched its flagship store on the famed Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, marking a significant milestone for the brand. This opening follows the debut of another flagship location on New York’s Fifth Avenue, establishing SKIMS as a notable player in the retail landscape.
A Personal Connection to Los Angeles
“Opening a Skims store in Los Angeles is a full-circle moment,” Kardashian noted. “This city has been a huge part of my life, and having a space here where people can experience the brand in person makes it even more special. We’re just getting started, and I can’t wait for what’s ahead.” As the co-founder and chief creative officer, Kardashian, alongside co-founder Jens Grede, has been at the helm of SKIMS since its inception in 2019.
Design and Experience
SKIMS’s West Hollywood store was crafted by the acclaimed design studio Rafael de Cárdenas, Ltd. The design reflects Kardashian’s signature minimalist style, combining striking architectural elements with the comfortable, body-centric concept that SKIMS embodies. Highlights of the store include rounded-edge fixtures, custom tonal mannequins, and a layout designed for a seamless shopping experience.

Unique Collaboration with Mel’s Drive-In
In celebration of the store’s grand opening, SKIMS has partnered with the iconic Mel’s Drive-In, located next door, to create a unique, Skims-inspired pop-up dining experience. This collaboration will include a specially curated menu, a custom photo booth, and decor that complements Mel’s vintage aesthetic. The pop-up will be accessible to the public from April 2 to 6, and customers who shop at SKIMS will receive priority access.
